trinamiX Enables the Miniaturization of CO2 Measurement Systems for Mobile Air Quality Monitoring and Capnography

Date Announced: 26 May 2020

CO2 measurement is an important, if not vital element in a wide range of applications, such as monitoring of air quality. trinamiX PbSe detectors enable the miniaturization of CO2 measurement systems and thus the integration into smartphones and wearables - without compromising on accuracy. This allows on-the-spot control of air quality at home or while travelling.

The unique features of trinamiX detectors can also play an important role in capnography, the monitoring of the respiratory pattern via the exact and timely measurement of carbon dioxide in the breath. The large-scale manufacturing capabilities and highest quality standards could be of significance in the battle against the current COVID-19 pandemic.
