Photonics Public Private Partnership annual meeting rescheduled to 05-06 November

Duesseldorf, Germany -- Photonics21 has announed that due to the coronavirus the Photonics PPP Annual Meeting has been postponed to autumn 2020.  The rescheduled event will now take place on 5th and 6th November 2020.

Programme

”Future follows light - Together for Europe's technological sovereignty" is the headline of this year's event in preparation for Horizon Europe.

On 5th November 2020 already confirmed is keynote speaker Karl Lamprecht, President and CEO Carl Zeiss AG, who will address how photonics can contribute to Europe's technological sovereignty. Other high ranking keynote speaker will follow soon.

The symposium will be followed by a networking reception. On the second day the focus will be on the future cooperation with other PPPs. The Photonics21 workshop sessions will start the process to develop application roadmaps in cooperation with other PPPs.

Webinar

On 28 April, Photonics21 will be conducting its first ever Webinar with the European Investment Bank.

Alberto Casorati, Innovation Finance Advisor, will talk about the most suitable EIB products for photonics start-ups and SME's. The webinar will take place on April 28th at 12pm. We envisaged around 30 minutes for this webinar and there will also be a possibility to ask questions at the end of the session. A recorded version will soon be made available after the webinar.
