Machine vision company now has a presence in all key European markets; new subsidiary combines previous activities in Italy.
Puchheim, Germany – Stemmer Imaging, listed on the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, has established a subsidiary in the Italian city of Bologna. After registration in the commercial register, the machine vision specialist is now represented in all key European markets with local subsidiaries.
Immediately after the announcement of the acquisition of the Spanish Group Infaimon S.L. which has subsidiaries in Portugal, Mexico and Brazil, STEMMER IMAGING is systematically moving ahead with its expansion strategy.
The company has operated in the Italian market for many years as a reliable provider of innovative machine vision solutions. The customer base will now be able to access Stemmer Imaging products and services directly from the Bologna location.
"In Italy's industrial heartland, we are now able to serve our customers directly with the use of existing structures and pooling of our activities. At the same time, we are convinced that having our own location will allow us to serve the Italian market's great potential even more efficiently. We are happy that we've already found qualified personnel for local support," said Lars Böhrnsen, CFO of Stemmer Imaging AG.
