Pyroelectric sensor maker signs new distribution deal.
Pyreos, a manufacturer of miniature, rugged, pyroelectric, mid-infrared sensors and detectors which respond faster and minimise power consumption, today announced it has appointed GVZ Components Srl, a leading electronic component distributor based in Milan, as its new Italian-based distributor. The addition of GVZ is part of the Pyreos growth strategy which has expanding distributor coverage as one of its critical elements.
Pyreos is at the forefront of sensor and detector technology, developing market leading products that respond faster, improve responsivity and minimise power consumption for gas, flame, food safety and oil applications. GVZ is a well-established distributor with over 40 years’ experience and a strong business in all markets relevant to Pyreos. Today’s news underscores a steady growth trend for Pyreos and will further accelerate growing sales to this important region. Pyreos recently extended its product line in response to worldwide demand for fast, accurate measurement of gases and fluids in traditional and new applications such as anaesthesia and refrigerants.
