Knight Optical is pleased to announce that we have achieved the renewal of our certification in ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management (from the 2008 certification), via a UKAS accredited certification body. We are very proud of this accomplishment, and the continuing challenging work and dedication of our staff.
ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management is a globally recognised standard which sets out the conditions for a quality management system (QMS). Its primary goal is for a company to improve customer satisfaction by defining the processes needed to meet the customer’s requirements.
Knight Optical endeavours on ‘bringing quality into focus’ for our customers, priding ourselves on the excellent quality and service that we provide. By updating this certification, Knight Optical continues to strengthen its position within the optical industry.
Throughout the certification process, Knight Optical has increased its efficiency and found improved ways of reporting and communicating, guaranteeing that the service we provide is of the highest standard.
The metrology laboratory at Knight Optical is just one of the many areas where this quality management system is implemented. Measurement traceability is paramount within this field to provide confidence to our customers of the validity of the measurements that we report.
Customer satisfaction drives our company, and we are always looking at ways to improve the customer experience.
