Active Silicon launches a HD-SDI interface for the Sony FCB-H11 – the popular HD resolution block camera with a built in 10x optical zoom.
The Active-HD-SDI interface provides HD-SDI video data, serial control as well as analog video pass through for the Sony FCB-H11 block camera.
High Definition Serial Digital Interface (HD-SDI) is widely used in broadcast and medical applications and offers high resolution, uncompressed digital video over conventional coaxial cabling. The module also includes a RS-232 interface as well as access to the composite and HD component video signals present on the FCB-H11.
This is the second interface module for the Sony FCB-H11 from Active Silicon – the first was the CoaXPress interface earlier this year.
For a compatible PC interface solution, Active Silicon can offer the Phoenix-HD-SDI range of frame grabbers resulting in an end to end solution for HD imaging applications.
