ULO Optics’ expansion continues with the appointment of Simon Lem as sales manager

Former II-VI employee to assist development of products destined for fiber lasers.

ULO Optics are pleased to announce another new appointment as part of their on-going strategy for growth. Simon Lem joins the Business Development team as Sales Manager with the twin aims of helping to drive the expansion of ULO products into new technologies and of supporting existing product lines.

Simon joins ULO with over 6 years’ experience in the optics industry, most recently as Aftermarket Sales Manager at global laser optics manufacturer II-VI, servicing customers in the UK and Scandinavia. Simon’s industry knowledge and account management skills are a valuable addition to the ULO team. In his new role reporting to the Business Development Manager, Simon will build on these skills whilst working with the team developing new solutions to make sophisticated beam delivery equipment much more affordable for the 1µm market for fiber lasers, without any compromise in quality.
