November 1, 2017, Rochester, NY - Sydor Optics has reached a new milestone with the Top 100, as one of only 16 manufacturing businesses to make the final cut in the annual Rochester Chamber award for consistent growth. Known worldwide for manufacturing custom flat-surfaced optics, the business serves the defense, biomedical, aerospace, semiconductor, telecom, life sciences and entertainment industries. With their modern manufacturing facility and equipment, Sydor Optics has the largest number of double-sided polishing machines available in the nation. Sydor also works to build strong relationships with their customers to take demanding requirements from prototype all the way through high-volume production.
President Michael Ognenovski started with Sydor in 2017 and is involved with every aspect of the company.

To be eligible for the Rochester Chamber Top 100, businesses must be privately held, headquartered in the nine-county Rochester region, and have earned at least $1 million in revenue in each of the three most recent fiscal years. The Rochester Chamber Top 100 is computed based on revenue growth, taking into account both dollar and percentage growth.
