In the course of the strategic business adjustments at LEJ the executive management of the company will be extended. Effective May 1, 2017 Mrs. Sabine Gottschaldt will become Managing Director, with particular responsibility for Finance, Human Resources (HR), Legal as well as Logistics. Mr. Simon Schwinger will become Managing Director, heading Marketing & Sales, Development, Manufacturing, Procurement and Quality Management. He will join forces with the existing Managing Director Mr. Wolfgang Ketscher. As one of the founders of the company Mr. Ketscher intends to withdraw from the operational business at the end of the business year.
Following this approach LEJ ensures the highest degree of customer and business partner satisfaction.
Mrs. Gottschaldt, holding a degree in Business Administration, gained extensive experience in the Finance sector until 2011 and, following her studies, in a large German aviation group. After she joined LEJ she worked in the administrative part of the company, acting as an Authorized Officer for Accounting / Controlling and HR.

Mr. Schwinger holds a degree in Business & Engineering and started his professional career at a globally operating integrated Photonics Group in Jena / Germany. He accounted for diverse tasks including worldwide Marketing, Sales and Business Development activities for opto-electronic components, sub-assemblies and systems as well as Digital Imaging solutions. Prior to joining LEJ he successfully managed Sales, R&D & Manufacturing sites of a medium-sized group of companies (Optics / Medical Technology) in Lower Saxony.
