LEJ launches LED Pulse Controller

Date Announced: 13 Feb 2017

Leistungselektronik JENA GmbH launches a high-efficiency LED lighting control

The LED Pulse Controller was developed for image processing applications in which fast moving objects can be captured with maximum definition. With two or four separately controllable output channels, which supply 3A in direct current and und 30A in pulsed mode, this modern digital LED driver is ideal for actuating high-speed high-output LED lamps.

The parameters of each channel can be set and the channel triggered and pulsed with up to 200 kHz independent of the other channels.

The parameters LED current, pulse length and pulse delay can be set in the software and provide precision brightness, delay and exposure setting independently for each channel. The configuration is stored permanently in the LED Pulse Controller and can be adjusted to the user’s measuring or test task during operation via Ethernet or USB interface.

The 2-channel / 4-channel digital lighting controller is equipped with active self-protection to ensure that the pulse length and the LED current cannot exceed destructive limits.

Flexible configuration, internal monitoring of all main operating parameters, together with the active self-protection make the device highly effective and uncomplicated to use in image processing, microscopy and optogenetics.
