Deals agreed for Picasso dental laser product.
INDIANAPOLIS, IN--(Marketwire - November 15, 2010) - AMD LASERS, the world's leading dental laser company, announced today the expansion of its domestic and international distribution channels of the number one dental laser in the world, Picasso®. The expansion includes the buildup of AMD sales representatives in the United States and a new agreement for Ortho Technology to distribute AMD LASERS' products to the orthodontic market in over 65 countries including the US.

Ortho Technology has entered into an exclusive agreement to distribute the Picasso Lite laser to orthodontists worldwide. The Picasso Lite laser can be used to expose unerupted teeth, remove soft tissue for bracket, band, and TAD placement, treat ulcerative lesions and canker sores, perform frenectomies, and gingival contouring. The Picasso Lite laser assists the orthodontist with treatments such as minimization of blood and tissue fluid interference, accelerated healing of ulcerative lesions, and offers great coagulation.
