Quantel Further Strengthens Its Leadership Team and Recruits Laurent Schneider-Maunoury as General Manager

LES ULIS, France--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Regulatory News: Quantel (Paris:QUA): On June 3, 2016, Quantel’s Board of Directors appointed Laurent Schneider-Maunoury as General Manager. Laurent Schneider-Maunoury is joining Quantel to take on operational responsibility for the entire group, reporting directly to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

Alain de Salaberry, Quantel’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, confirmed: “We are delighted to welcome on board Laurent Schneider-Maunoury, who will bring his experience to help accelerate the group’s development and, in time, ensure a successful management transition at the head of our company”.

Laurent Schneider-Maunoury has over 20 years’ experience at the head of industrial technology firms. He began his career with the French Ministry of Industry before joining the Safran group in 1996. There, he began to manage production at Snecma, before becoming vice president of operations at Messier-Dowty in 2002. In 2005, he was appointed CEO of SLCA (Safran group), the composite aerostructure specialist subsidiary. Beginning in 2011, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Saphymo, a market leader for radioactivity surveillance systems.

Combining in-depth knowledge of industrial organizations with a strong focus on results, throughout his experiences he has successfully obtained the best from international mulitidisciplinary teams.

Laurent Schneider-Maunoury, 50, graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, and has an MBA from Collège des Ingénieurs.
