US firm claims fastest repetition rate and best beam quality with failsafe back-reflection isolation feature.

• For industrial material processing, the nLIGHT alta™ medium power fiber lasers are now available from 500 W to 1200 W, and provide the fastest repetition rate, shortest rise and fall time, and best beam quality. nLIGHT alta™ fiber lasers offer the highest power and smallest form factor in a fiber laser today.
• For metal cutting, welding and advanced fabricating, nLIGHT introduces high power fiber lasers from 2 kW to 4 kW with the fastest modulation rate and shortest pulse rise and fall times available in a commercial fiber laser. Now available at power levels from 500 W to 4 kW, the nLIGHT alta prime™ portfolio incorporates programmable pulse shaping and triggering for the highest degree of process optimization.
