Two workshops scheduled for next month's industry event in San Francisco.
Rochester, N.Y. (Jan. 20, 2016) – Michele Nichols, president of Launch Team Inc. (formerly PLS Launch Solutions), a marketing and IP development company specializing in technical industries, will present at Photonics West a workshop and roundtable discussion on marketing strategies for optics companies.
The workshop, “Inbound Marketing: How to Bring Customers to You,” will explore how inbound marketing strategies apply to the optics and photonics industry. Nichols will share best practices, metrics and tactics that have helped companies with which she has worked to grow their revenue base.
“Today’s buyers, particularly engineers, prefer to do their own research before they reach out to your sales team. Traditional methods are losing their effectiveness, but many business leaders are not sure how to get started with inbound marketing. This workshop provides practical, industry-specific guidance and benchmarks for success,” Nichols said.
Nichols will facilitate a roundtable discussion after the workshop in which she will share data, lessons learned and specific recommendations for improving marketing ROI. Participants will have the opportunity to compare their marketing wins and lessons learned with industry peers.
Both events will take place Monday, Feb. 15 in Moscone Center Room 102. Attendees may include CEOs, vice presidents of marketing or sales, product managers, marketing staff and others in customer development with responsibility for ensuring a healthy pipeline.
