Santa Rosa, CA – January 12th, 2016: Alluxa, Inc., the leader in high performance optical filters and optical coatings announces the completion of its capacity expansion at its Santa Rosa, CA facilities bringing the total number of identical plasma deposition machines to 10.
The expansion was driven by steady demand that has led to average growth of 10% quarter over quarter for the last 12 consecutive quarters. The capacity expansion of 50% was completed in the second half of 2015, and included 5,000 square feet of new manufacturing and engineering space for coating, glass fabrication, and assembly.
“Continuing our strong growth while maintaining > 99% on time delivery performance is critical to supporting the needs of our customers,” said Peter Egerton, EVP of Business Development. “We feel that investing aggressively in our capacity is the best way to balance both of these needs”.
This philosophy has been key to Alluxa’s performance for the past 3 years. Moving forward, the goal is to continue to improve both the company’s growth and on time delivery rates.
“In line with our copy exact philosophy”, he said, “Our engineers have designed and built all of our plasma deposition machines, including the newest ones, to have the ability to produce all of our products. With this expansion successfully complete, we are now finalizing our plans for further expansions in 2016 and 2017.”
