Jena, Germany – In order to provide the best possible service to its customer base, LASOS has restructured its approach to the North American market. Having formerly utilized a Distributor, the company will now serve the region directly. Lynn Strickland, a seasoned industry veteran in lasers and optics, has been retained by LASOS for the purposes of Business Development and Customer Support in the territory, with a base in San Diego, CA.
Dr. Juergen Meyer, CEO and Managing Director for LASOS states “the North American market presents tremendous growth opportunity, and Mr. Strickland’s experience and track record will certainly help us serve existing and new customers with their laser needs.” Strickland, with over 30 years in the Photonics industry, has held senior-level positions in General Management, Business Development, Product Management and Technical Marketing for firms including IDEX Corporation, Melles Griot, CVI Laser Optics and Coherent.
