Former Rubicon boss Raja Parvez to advise laser crystal firm.
San Francisco, CA – Shasta Crystals announced the appointment of three new members to its Advisory Board. The Board is now comprised of six leaders in academia and industry with expertise in crystal growth, international business development, laser engineering, medical laser markets and new product development. The Board members will provide advice and guidance on how to address the opportunities and challenges associated with building a successful business from a core set of novel technologies.

The Three new members of Shasta Crystals’ Advisory Board are:
Alexander Kachanov – Principal Scientist & Group Leader, LI-COR Biosciences
Dale Koop – CEO, Perigee Medical Lasers
Raja M. Parvez – Former President & CEO Rubicon Technology (Nasdaq:RBCN)
These new members join the current Advisory Board:
Robert Feigelson – Professor Emeritus, Stanford University, Department of Materials Science and Engineering
Michel Ferriol – Professor, University of Metz
Roger Route – Senior Research Associate, Ginzton Laboratory, Stanford University
