Non-Optical Optics

LASER COMPONENTS is well known for its high performance optics, with extremely high damage threshold and laser grade finish, but we also have excellent capabilities for non-optical components. We can polish and coat copper heatsinks, protection windows, electrodes, viewports and other high vacuum components, ceramics and many other materials such as hardened or stainless steel and tungsten carbide.

Our services include lapping and coating with electroless nickel and gold free issued copper parts such as electrical connectors and medical products.  The gold coatings are fully sterilisable and durable, without flaking or peeling.  We also offer windows of normal (non-laser grade) quality for protection, whether it is from dust or from a non-enclosed laser beam. We welcome custom designs.

The Company           

The Company formed in 1986 and is located at six locations in Germany, France, UK, Canada and USA.  Extensive in-house production accounts for approximately half its turnover.  Currently, the family-run business employs more than 120 people worldwide.
