LASER COMPONENTS provides a wide range of standard, ruled or holographic, reflection and transmission gratings. We provide standard gratings optimised for UV, VIS and IR wavelengths on a large range of materials.

For applications which require broad spectral ranges, efficiency over the large range can be compromised when using a standard diffraction grating, so the dual-zone diffraction grating has been introduced to counter this problem.

A dual-zone grating allows choice of two gratings with peak efficiency wavelengths optimally spaced within the desired spectral range, the size of these zones can then be used to balance the spectral output. This allows a compact single element solution without compromised efficiency.
