Headquartered in Boulder, CO, REO provides optics, thin film coatings and assembly products to laser, military/aerospace, semiconductor fabrication, materials processing, telecommunications and life sciences industries worldwide.  REO was nominated by a Lockheed Martin Procurement Manager for participation in their Ethics and Sustainability Supplier Mentoring Program in January 2014.   Over the past six months, the REO ethics program has been audited and upgraded with input from Lockheed Martin ethics professionals.  A diverse set of resources were made available to enhance the supporting infrastructure and training materials.  REO is being recognized for integrating improvements into their internal and external business practices.

REO President and CEO, Paul Kelly, is very pleased by this award and stated “We are honored to be selected by Lockheed Martin for this program and very appreciative of the support that we have been given.  The Code of Conduct expresses the expectations we hold for our employees, representatives and suppliers as far as acting with integrity in all that we do.  This is one of the fundamental values for REO.  Our expanding global business requires that we clearly communicate our expectations on how business must be conducted.”

Lockheed Martin places a very high value on acting with integrity in all business transactions.  One of the ways they demonstrate their commitment to ethical business practices is by conducting these mentoring activities with selected suppliers to enhance the performance of the supply chain.

REO’s upgraded ethics policy communicates to their employees, partners and customers that they value and understand the importance of ethical behavior.  The new ethics program is being rolled out to all REO employees and global partners.
