Change in TRUMPF Management Board

As of the end of the 2013/14 financial year, Harald Völker stepped down from CFO position.

Ditzingen, July 1, 2014 – As of the end of the 2013/14 financial year (June 30, 2014), Harald Völker stepped down from the Group Management Board of TRUMPF GmbH + Co. KG. Dr. Lars Grünert, who was already a member of the Management Board of the machine tool and laser manufacturer in Ditzingen, will take over his duties as CFO.

Harald Völker (59) worked for TRUMPF since 1990 and held the position as CFO of TRUMPF GmbH + Co. KG and at the same time as Chairman of the Medical Technology Division since 2001. “Harald Völker played a decisive role in shaping the worldwide success of our company in the past two decades and I am very grateful to him for that,” states Dr. Nicola Leibinger-Kammüller, Chairwoman of the TRUMPF Management Board. “He made our Medical Technology Division a highly regarded player in the market. Moreover, it is largely thanks to him that we as a company were able to cope with the great crisis so well after 2008.”

Dr. rer. pol. Lars Grünert (46), who has been working for TRUMPF since 2002, will be the new CFO. Dr. Grünert has been Executive Vice President of TRUMPF GmbH + Co. KG since 2010 and was up to now CFO of the Laser Technology / Electronics Division. Within the Group Management Board he will remain responsible for organizational development and information technology, among other things.
