VICTOR, NEW YORK September 4, 2012 – Bristol Instruments, Inc., a leader in optical interferometer-based instrumentation, has hired Mr. Todd Blalock as the Director of its new Optical Metrology Products Group.
Mr. Blalock has been involved in the field of optics for over 20 years. He has a successful record of product development and technology leadership, having authored or co-authored a number of patents related to optical measurement and interferometry. Before joining Bristol Instruments, Mr. Blalock founded Quasar Photonics and served as the company’s president. He also was the Chief Technology Officer of Lumetrics and held positions at ASE Optics and the University of Rochester’s Laboratory for Laser Energetics. He earned a BS in Optical Engineering from the Institute of Optics at the University of Rochester.
