Southampton, September 12th 2013, Fibercore, a UK based global market leader in the design and manufacture of specialty optical fiber, announced the appointment of John Lee as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Global Sales to strengthen its executive management team. John brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in sales to the fiber optic and high technology industries.
Prior to joining Fibercore John headed sales and marketing at Timbercon where he oversaw 25% compound annual growth over a nine year period. Other notable roles include cofounding and heading up sales and marketing for Zmation, a manufacturer of custom automated systems which was listed in the top 200 growth companies in North America. John also headed sales for a automated system line at KDT systems where he delivered over 20% annual growth creating $72 million in annual sales. John has implemented winning business development strategies in diverse domestic and international markets including: defence / aerospace, semiconductor, electronics, alternative energy, oil & gas, telecommunications, and medical device industries.
