Xenonics Announces $2 Million Order for Army Crew Served Weapons Light Systems

CARLSBAD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--XENONICS HOLDINGS, INC. (OTCBB:XNNH) announced today that it has received a purchase order from the Third Brigade of the First Infantry Division of the U.S. Army valued at approximately $2,000,000 for Xenonics' NightHunter 3 high-intensity illumination devices and NightHunter weapon and vehicle mount kits.

"Xenonics is an approved supplier of crew served weapons light systems for the Army. What is especially important is that this order includes both our lights and the new mount kits we designed specifically for crew served applications. These kits allow the NightHunter to be securely mounted on a weapon or vehicle where the light can be rotated, or quickly and easily removed for hand-held use. This greatly expands the range of applications for our NightHunter 3s, with significant potential for Xenonics," said Chairman Alan Magerman. These systems are scheduled to be delivered by December 2010.

Including this order, Magerman said that the Company has scheduled deliveries of more than $3,000,000 for its fiscal first quarter ending December 31, 2010, and expects to report a substantial profit for the period.
