REO Appoints Patrick Casnedi as Sales Representative in France

REO, a leading manufacturer of high volume precision optical solutions, has appointed Patrick Casnedi as their sales representative in France. Casnedi has extensive experience in the photonics industry, having held senior management positions at companies ranging from component/module suppliers up to systems integrators.

Most recently, he served as Group Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Qioptiq. Prior to that, Casnedi held various Technical and International Sales roles at Thales (incuding Thales Optronics), and was Vice President of International Sales & Marketing within the Defense & Security Division of EADS (now Cassidian).

Casnedi holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Ecole Supérieure de Mécanique, Paris) and subsequently studied Optics (Ecole Supérieure d’Optique, Paris-Orsay), Economics (Paris Sorbonne) and Business Administration (INSEAD Fontainebleau).
