PowerPhotonic Opens Base for North America Operations

World leader in precision laser micro-optics strengthens presence in key market.

Dalgety Bay, UK, 27 May 2013 – PowerPhotonic today announces the opening of a new North America micro-optics customer and technical support center. The new facility located in Pleasanton, California will help PowerPhotonic support customers in North America more effectively.

Staffed by US nationals, it will help strengthen relationships right across the laser micro-optics community; in the materials processing, medical systems, and optical communications industries; the large science and industrial R&D sector; and to companies in the US defence business that require ITAR compliance. PowerPhotonic’s innovative micro-optics products are well suited for the US defence market, the largest in the world.
