Lafayette, CO – [November 16, 2012] – Created for the purpose of manufacturing and distributing the highest grade Zinc Selenide (ZnSe) material and finished optics, RMI Infrared is dedicated to serving CO2 Laser OEM’s, Aftermarket Distributors, and Laser Job Shops.

RMI Infrared offers a variety of fabrication options for ZnSe, such as: Sufficient Material to Yield (SMTY), Core Drilled blanks, Edged blanks, and polished and ready to be coated blanks. And, drawing from affiliate Rocky Mountain Instrument’s longstanding expertise and craftsmanship with precision optics and coatings, RMI Infrared can also supply finished CO2 laser optics directly to end users.

RMI Infrared’s lenses and coatings are optimized for 10.6µm, offer very low absorption, have a high damage threshold, and are durable, long life lenses. All to ensure the best return on your investment for your laser.

Finished optics for CO2 Lasers and raw ZnSe material are in stock and ready to ship per customer specifications.
