Happy (laser-cut) Easter from JK Lasers!

To celebrate Easter, JK Lasers has cut a greetings message using a 500W fiber laser (JK500FL).

The Easter egg design was cut at 2.5m per minute on 1mm mild steel, a common material used in many industrial applications, particularly laser cutting. The high beam quality and power stability of the JK500FL, combined with the use of a compressed air assist gas, resulted in a dross-free cut.

The Easter egg image is the second in a series of celebratory messages produced by JK Lasers this year. An image of a dragon with the Chinese message ‘May You Enjoy Good Fortune’ was cut in celebration of the Chinese New Year. Both messages can be viewed at www.youtube.com/jklasers.
