Assets of Energy Innovations, Inc. Concentrated Photovoltaic Assembly Facility to Be Auctioned on March 20, 2012

Heritage Global Partners will conduct an online exclusive auction of assets previously owned by Energy Innovations, Inc., a highly concentrated photovoltaic company located in Poway, California.

Auction will consist of non-core assets included high-tech manufacturing equipment, office furnishings and support equipment and will be conducted under the direction of an affiliated entity of Sherwood Partners, LLC, EI (Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors), LLC, In its sole and limited capacity as Assignee for the Benefit of Creditors.

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Heritage Global Partners will conduct an online exclusive auction of assets held by the EI (Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors), LLC, In its sole and limited capacity as Assignee for the Benefit of Creditors of Energy Innovations, Inc. Energy Innovations was a developer and manufacturer of highly concentrated photovoltaic systems headquartered in Poway, California.

In connection with the liquidation of assets held by the Assignee, Heritage Global Partners will conduct an online exclusive auction of the non-core assets starting on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 7am PT. Interested parties should click on this link for more information.

The facility will be open to the public to preview the assets to be included in the auction on Monday, March 19, 2012 from 9am to 4pm PT. The address is 14100 Danielson Street, Suite 400, Poway, California 92064.

Prior to making the General Assignment, Energy Innovations was a pioneer in the development highly concentrated photovoltaic systems (HCPV) branded Sunflower™ as a means to reduce the cost of solar energy. The auction will provide buyers an opportunity to purchase assets from a ~60,000 sqft assembly facility including high-tech manufacturing equipment, furniture, support equipment and more.
