Invention simplifies patient positioning for laser imaging.
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Imaging Diagnostic Systems, Inc., a pioneer in newly recognized DIFFUSE OPTICAL TOMOGRAPHY or “DOT,” is pleased to announce the issuance of its 23rd U.S. Letters Patent 8,027,711, titled “Laser imaging apparatus with variable patient positioning,” dated September 27th, 2011.
This invention is designed to simplify patient positioning thus providing better image quality and simplified operator setup. It was conceived by Emily Heins and Sharon Jones, two of IDSI's Clinical Applications Specialists, whose primary function is to evaluate, operate and train future clinical applications specialists in the field who are new to the CTLM system.
