VIGO Photonics Heading to MSPO 2026 with Next-Gen Infrared Tech
25 August 2026
VIGO Photonics, Polish technology company specializing in semiconductor photonics, will feature its products for the defense market at the International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in Kielce, Poland, running from September 8 to 11, 2026. Attendees can locate the company's team at Booth A21 within the Polish Technological Platform for Photonics (PPTF) pavilion.
This event aligns with VIGO’s growth strategy across the global defense market by delivering ultra-durable photonics components engineered to perform in extreme field conditions for both military and commercial clients.
What can you expect?
VIGO Photonics will highlight both its core detection products and specialized defense-grade solutions, featuring infrared detectors & detection modules with thermoelectrial and cryogenic (Stirling / LN2) cooling, as well as short-wave InGaAs solutions optimized for military system integration.
Furthermore, the attendees will be able to take a firsthand look at T2SL MWIR "Eagle" Focal Plane Array. It is designed for seamless thermal and mechanical mounting and provides excellent operational stability in both extremely low and extremely high temperatures. It will perform live inside a thermal imaging camera demo operating at output rates up to 10 MHz per channel.
Live Demonstrators
The products have a wide spectrum of application: laser warning systems, IR spectroscopy, ultra-fast fire detection and IR guidance. To demonstrate real-world utility, VIGO will run many hands-on units at the booth, including:
- Fireman Demonstrator: Using VIGO’s multi-element detection module, it displays ultra-fast threat detection by identifying a flame source in milliseconds and immediately extinguishing it with a targeted acoustic air pulse.
- HELIOS (Helmet Laser Impulse Observation System): A prototype helmet-mounted sensor detecting brief IR laser pulses across the 0.8–1.65 µm band. The exhibit shows VIGO’s capabilities in tactical threat detection and battlefield awareness.
VIGO’s technical specialists and business managers will remain on-site throughout the whole conference to discuss new possibilities, custom engineering requirements and system integrations.
