G&H to Showcase Expanded Defence Optics and Photonics Portfolio at Eurosatory 2026

May 2026 - Keene U.S.

02 June 2026

G&H (LON: GHH), a global leader in optics and photonics technology, will showcase its expanded defence solutions portfolio at the Eurosatory 2026 exhibition taking place June 15-19, 2026, at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre. Visitors can meet the G&H team in Hall 4, Booth E100.

Building on decades of experience supporting global defence and aerospace programmes, G&H has significantly expanded its capabilities through the acquisitions of Phoenix Optical Technologies in the UK and Global Photonics in the US. Together, these additions strengthen G&H’s expertise across precision optics, advanced optical coatings, infrared imaging, integrated vision systems, and photonic subsystems for mission-critical applications.

At Eurosatory 2026, G&H will highlight technologies supporting enhanced situational awareness, infrared imaging, laser protection, optical communications, and integrated vehicle vision systems, including its new Garnet™ MWIR lens assemblies, Embedded Image Periscope (EIP), and Thin-Film Lithium Niobate (TFLN) manufacturing developments in the United States.©️ G&H Embedded Image Periscope (EIP) module

Embedded Image Periscope with FireAnt™ SWIR Lens Assembly Among the key technologies on display will be G&H’s latest Embedded Image Periscope (EIP) solution, designed to enhance operational effectiveness and situational awareness for armoured fighting vehicle (AFV) crews operating in complex environments.

The EIP integrates a full high-definition electronic display with custom relaxed-view biocular optics, enabling operators to transition seamlessly between direct optical viewing and indirect electronic display modes. The system has been engineered with optimized size, weight, and power (SWaP) characteristics to support deployment in demanding military environments where space constraints and energy efficiency are critical.©️ G&H | StingRay FireAnt™ SWIR Lens Assemblies

Designed with ergonomic controls and high-performance optics, the EIP improves operator comfort during extended missions. The compact ruggedized solution supports enhanced visibility and target acquisition across demanding battlefield conditions. Paired with the G&H | StingRay FireAnt™ SWIR lens assembly, the platform delivers enhanced day and night situational awareness capabilities. FireAnt™ is a continuous zoom shortwave infrared (SWIR) lens solution specifically engineered using SWIR-optimized materials and advanced anti-reflective coatings to maximize in-band transmission and image resolution.

The combined system provides AFV crews with superior visibility in degraded visual environments, enabling improved detection, navigation, and threat identification capabilities during low-light and obscured operations.

©️ G&H Garnet Series™ MWIR Lens Assemblies

Germanium-Free MWIR Imaging for Supply Chain Resilience G&H will also feature its new Garnet™ MWIR lens assembly series, developed by G&H | StingRay as a next-generation infrared imaging solution designed to support long-term supply chain resilience for defence and surveillance applications. Derived from the proven Ruby™ platform, the Garnet™ series eliminates the use of Germanium and Chalcogenide materials while maintaining the high-performance imaging capabilities required for mission-critical operations. As global defence manufacturers increasingly seek resilient alternatives to constrained materials, the Garnet platform provides a forward-looking solution that addresses both performance and supply continuity requirements. Engineered for operation across the 3-5 µm wavelength range, the Garnet™ series delivers achromatic optical performance and supports multiple system configurations, including f/2.3, f/2.5, and f/4.0 architectures with image formats up to 21 mm.

These lens assemblies feature manual focus with lock functionality and a standard IR bayonet mount, enabling rapid integration into a variety of imaging and sensing platforms. The systems are optimized for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), border

security, target acquisition, and long-range detection applications where both optical performance and material availability are essential.

By removing dependence on Germanium and Chalcogenide materials, G&H is helping defence integrators reduce long-term procurement risk while maintaining operational effectiveness in high-performance infrared imaging systems.

Embedded Laser Threat Detection for AFV Survivability In collaboration with Sentinel Photonics, G&H will showcase integrated laser detection technology embedded directly within its vehicle periscope system.

The Sentinel-equipped periscope combines advanced light-sensing elements with high-speed signal processing to provide rapid warning alerts to laser radiation commonly encountered in military operating environments. The solution is designed to help vehicle crews identify and respond to threats generated by laser rangefinders, target designators, dazzlers, and other hostile laser systems.

The integrated architecture allows operators to maintain continuous situational awareness while receiving immediate threat notification, supporting faster decision-making and improved survivability in contested environments.

Designed for efficient deployment across both new and legacy vehicle platforms, the compact low-power solution operates from a standard vehicle power feed while requiring minimal power consumption of only two watts. The technology can be integrated with

minimal modification to existing vehicle interfaces, reducing installation complexity and enabling streamlined fleet upgrades.

In addition, the system can interface with onboard countermeasure or weapon systems to support automated or operator-assisted threat response capabilities. Integrated Sentinel laser detection technology is available across all existing and future G&H | Kent periscopes while maintaining the original periscope form factor and installation footprint, ensuring compatibility with current vehicle architectures.

©️ G&H | Artemis, in partnership with Sentinel Photonics, developed the FROST series of filters - rugged optical elements that mount directly onto riflescopes and other magnified sights

FROST Laser Protection Filters for Riflescopes G&H, in collaboration with Sentinel Photonics, will also present the FROST laser protection filter range developed by G&H | Artemis to protect operators against increasingly common battlefield laser threats.

Designed for integration with riflescope objective lenses, the FROST filters provide protection from laser dazzling and blinding effects caused by systems such as spotters, laser rangefinders, illuminators, and directed countermeasure devices.

Importantly, the filters are engineered to maintain visual clarity, target visibility, and operational effectiveness while protecting users from harmful laser exposure. This balance

between protection and optical performance is critical for modern military operators working in laser-intensive operational environments.

Manufactured to military-grade standards, the ruggedized filters are designed to withstand harsh field conditions and are compatible with a broad range of riflescope platforms used across defence and security forces worldwide.

The solution enables personnel to preserve situational awareness and maintain targeting effectiveness without compromising tactical performance or mission capability.

Comprehensive Defence Optics Portfolio

In addition to the featured systems and technologies, G&H will display a broad portfolio of mission-ready optical and photonic solutions supporting a wide range of defence applications.

Additional technologies and capabilities on display will include: · Vehicle vision systems and AFV periscopes · Laser protection filters and survivability optics · Precision optics for avionics and directed energy systems · ISR lens assemblies and infrared imaging systems

· Advanced photonic materials and optical subsystems

· Integrated optical and photonic assemblies for defence platforms

The company’s integrated approach to optical engineering, manufacturing, and systems integration enables G&H to support defence customers with complete end-to-end solutions designed for reliability, survivability, and operational performance in the most demanding environments.
