Shareholder de-value
Shareholder value in First Solar - still ranked the world's leading PV company by sales in 2011 according to many analysts - has been decimated over the past 12 months. The company's market capitalization dropped further after the latest quarterly results and five-year plan were announced, to just under $1.5 billion. Slightly over a year ago, the company was worth $14 billion. Source: Yahoo! Finance.
