| Syneron subsidiary Candela and Palomar have been locked in a patent litigation battle over laser hair removal for nearly five years. The case will now go to a court in October this year. Laser hair removal, anti-wrinkle treatment and skin resurfacing are all part of an aesthetic treatments market estimated by Pantec Biosolutions to be worth $4.4 billion in 2010, and growing to $7.5 billion in 2015.
