
| Having once touted its adoption of Luminar's 1550nm lidar as a breakthrough similar in nature to the safety-enhancing developments of seatbelts and airbags, Volvo has now terminated its agreement with the US firm. That decision comes as Luminar's future looks highly uncertain, with the company burning through cash rapidly before losing its biggest lidar customer.
