| IPG Photonics says that its recently released laser heating and drying tools, launched at the SPIE Photonics West exhibition earlier this year, have been well received by customers and are already gaining market acceptance. The company expects orders for these systems in the second quarter, and strong subsequent demand. Described as "a new cold furnace paradigm" for industrial drying applications, the idea is to replace conventional gas-fired furnaces with a far more economic and energy-efficient solution. |
