| Aeva is one of a handful of lidar companies developing frequency-modulated continuous-wave (FMCW) technology, which is able to determine both the distance and velocity of objects. Based on silicon photonics, all of the key elements are incorporated into a single compact chip module, allowing for automated mass production.
