| The first of two nuclear reactors that will be installed at the UK's Hinkley Point C power station, this 500-tonne pressure vessel will use radioactive uranium to produce electricity. The giant power station is currently scheduled to become operational in mid-2027, by which time it is just about possible that Silex's laser uranium enrichment system may also be about to begin commercial use.
