Combat shoot-off
Back in 2021, the US Army's Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) took a laser-equipped Stryker to Fort Sill, Oklahoma, as part of its Directed Energy-Maneuver Short-Range Air Defense (DE M-SHORAD) Combat Shoot-Off. KORD Technologies has now sub-contracted nLight to provide the source for a 50kW laser weapon. Photo: US Army/Jim Kendall.
