Gestione Silo is a company specialized in precision optics for aerospace, defense,  industrial, research, biomedical manufacturing and on development and integration of opto-mechanical systems.

Gestione Silo is specialized in precision optics manufacturing of lenses, prisms, windows, mirrors, filters and integrated opto-mechanical systems.

We can support the customer in the development, design and engineering the opto-mechanical systems like eyepieces, alignment benches, optical relays, illuminators and more complex instruments such as telescopes, microscopes, spectrometers, earth vision systems.

We have a Clean Room to integrate the instruments in a controlled environment according to the ISO5 class, as well as a large climatic chamber to test by using extreme temperatures (-40° ‍C, +180 °C), thermal shocks and conditions of high humidity.

We provide our metrology and testing laboratory not only for the optical components, but in all measurement tasks that require high precision and resolution. Our laboratory have a Perkin Elmer LAMBDA 950 UV/Vis/NIR (@300-3000nm) and Shimatsu IRAffinity (@2,5-25 um) spectrophotometers to test the entire spectral band (300 - 25000 nm), a Zygo interferometer with a large optical bench, a rugosimeter and more instruments to test all the optical components to guarantee the strict tolerances required of precision optics.

We produce a wide range of coatings, for UV, Visible, NIR and IR with characteristics suitable for the military, medical, aerospace, laser and industrial sectors in general.
