FLT Inc. is a world leader in tunable fiber Bragg grating (FBG) technology.  Our patented tunable fiber gratings are fully compatible with optical fibers, have very low insertion loss, a large wavelength tuning range (~40nm), and high power handling capability (~10W). The tunable FBGs provide an "all-fiber" tunable filter platform offering “all-fiber” advantages with extensive application in tunable fiber lasers, fiber optic sensors, and optical fiber telecommunication.  Typical application examples: high power tunable filters, tuning element in tunable lasers, fiber optic sensors, tunable optic wave mixing, etc.

FLT's tunable lasers are configured by directly tuning the FBG. The tunable fiber lasers provide ASE-free laser output, have a high optical S/N ratio (>75dB).  The laser system has additional output/input terminals that can be used as a tunable FBG filter and fiber ASE source to expand your application.
