My grandfather started "Kitagawa Seinosuke store" for the packaging of salt business in 1930. He then founded the "Kitagawa and Company Limited" in 1948 adding sales of nylon products.

In 1960, we started plastics molding which was our second major manufacturing venture. We were successful in molding a plastic lens in 1963 and since that time the company has changed with the market by pursuing emerging businesses and has accumulated technologies.

Thanks to our technology developments, we were awarded for various honorable prizes given by Osaka Mayor, Agency of Industrial Science and Technoloty, etc for our plastic lenses.

With our corporate motto of "Lighting a Path To the Future with Nano-Optics", we provide the high quality optical products that our customers need.
