Opticote designs and applies thin film coatings- specializing in substrates including polycarbonates, plastics, glass and acrylics. Coatings are produced to customer-supplied specifications, or designed in-house to meet customer-defined requirements.Coatings include: AR- single and broad band, V-coats and Double V-coats, as well as High Reflection coatings, Dichroic, and Neutral Density filters; decorative coatings including all colors of Mirrors- Solid, Flash and Gradients; and functional coatings such as RFI, Anti-Static, Heat Rejection, and Hot and Cold Mirrors. Also, coatings to address physical requirements: hard coats, scratch resistant, hydrophobic, oleophobic, and anti-fog (hydrophilic) are available.

Our decades of experience coating and delivering lenses in the very time-sensitive Rx market has led us to develop a best-in-class delivery discipline for photonics- as quick as same day delivery on many standard coatings (such as AR, silver mirrors) with >95% of jobs shipped in less than 3 days, once a design has been completed and tested. These strengths make Opticote an ideal choice for partnering with OEMs and OEM subcontractors, for short to medium sized production runs, custom designs, one-offs, experiments and prototypes.
