New Imaging Technologies

New Imaging Technologies (NIT) is a subsidiary of LYNRED, a French company specializing in high-performance infrared detectors covering the entire infrared spectrum (SWIR, MWIR, LWIR, and VLWIR). NIT manages the SWIR Business Unit for LYNRED Group and provides advanced sensors and modules based on proprietary CMOS and InGaAs sensor technologies.

Founded in 2007 as a spin-off from the French National Research Center for Telecommunications, NIT was established to design and manufacture imaging products based on patented high dynamic range sensor technology.

Through significant investment in R&D, NIT has developed expertise across the entire SWIR technology chain, including readout circuit design, sensor development, hybridization technology, camera electronics, and software. Today, NIT operates as a vertically integrated supplier of SWIR sensors and modules supported by proprietary manufacturing capabilities.

NIT's portfolio ranges from compact, cost-effective SWIR sensors to high-speed line-scan arrays and large-format focal plane arrays up to Full HD resolution. The company also maintains CMOS solutions and continues development of emerging technologies such as CQDs.
