AB-tron offers OEM design, production and sales of laser diode modules for e.g. alignment, positioning, laser sensor, imaging and machine vision applications. Modules are available with different optics (dot, line, cross, patterns, grids) in the violet, blue, green, red, near IR spectra with a range of options.

The offered range of options make the AB-tron laser modules an easy to customise solution, perfect for hassle-free integration.

Optical:

• standard: high quality anti-reflex coated glass collimation optics
• options: o range of optics with different back focal lengths o focusable optics o line (Gaussian or uniform), cross generating optics, patterns (e.g. parallel lines), grids (e.g. dot matrix)

Electrical:

• standard: 5VDC input
• options: o 3, 12, 24VDC, AC mains supply o digital modulation (e.g. TTL signal for on/off, pulsed operation) o analogue modulation (linear output power adjustment by applying voltage) o integrated potentiometer for manual power adjustment o electrically isolated o reverse voltage protection o overcurrent protection o shielded cables o laser diodes for higher operation temperatures o temperature-stabilised versions o battery case with on/off switch o range of connectors (e.g. Binder, USB) o on-/off-switch o Status-LED

Mechanical:

• standard ø12 mm x 40mm brass housing (bronzed)
• mini module ø7 mm x 22mm with external drive electrics in 12 x 14 x 22mm case
• options: o aluminium, stainless steel housing o high precision versions (bore sight <1mrad) o clamps, holders, threaded housing o other dimensions
