Latest purchase helps Honeywell to repair aircraft

Honeywell of Phoenix, Arizona, has bought Quantum Laser Corporation of Norcross, Georgia, an aerospace repair company specializing in the laser cladding of turbine blades.

Quantum will retain its current facilities but will become part of Honeywell's aerospace business, which has sales of USD 10.5 billion, and will work closely with Honeywell's repair and overhaul facility in Greer, South Carolina.
