Spectron expands its US presence

The US CO₂ laser manufacturer formerly known as Surgilase has become a wholly owned subsidiary of the UK's Spectron Laser Systems Ltd. The US division is now known as Spectron Lasers USA Inc.

Spectron, a manufacturer of Nd:YAG lasers for scientific and industrial lasers, became part of the ESC group two years ago and entered into a joint venture agreement with Surgilase, another ESC company, twelve months later in order to expand into the US market and diversify its laser capabilities.
