DRS wins avionics systems contract for Australian Navy

DRS Technologies, Inc., has been awarded a contract from the Royal Australian Navy to produce flight safety systems. The EAS-3000 Emergency Avionics System will be installed on the SH-2G Super Seasprite helicopters and is an integrated, advanced cockpit voice and flight data recorder and locator beacon system which incorporates data storage technology in a survivable package.
