Lambda Physik receives $6.7 million Japanese laser order

Lambda Physik has received an order from Japan Steel Works for its LAMBDA 4000 high power excimer lasers. The lasers, to be delivered this year, will integrate into systems made by Japan Steel Works for thin film transitor annealing in the production of active matrix liquid crystal displays. The order, the largest single order in Lambda Physik's history, is worth $6.7 million in U.S. currency.
