Premier to form joint venture

Premier Laser Systems Inc. (Irvine, CA) signed a letter of intent to form a joint venture with Refractive Surgical Services (Kansas City, KS), a privately held on-line refractive-surgical data-analysis service provider. Called Data.Site, the joint venture will be 51% owned by Premier. Under terms of the agreement, Premier will deliver common stock valued at up to $1.2 million to RSS and provide an additional $1 million in cash or services.
